Thank you for this script.
This is exactly what I'm looking for.

But I would like to integrate your code within my existing photobooth script and for that I would like to have it running with python, not with python3.

Would it be possible ?
What changes to the code should be applied ?

I am a super noob but would like to use this code if it works. after install, when I try to run picam.py on my raspberry pi 4 running raspbian, I get

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "picam.py", line 5, in
from AudioRecorder import AudioRecorder
File "/home/pi/Python_AVrecorder/AudioRecorder.py", line 24
print(status, file=sys.stderr)

Any advice on how to procceed? I am using a usb webcam that also is a microphone and I have external speakers hooked up. Thanks!

Hi -

I have tried your code albeit with different hardware (picam2 and accelerometer) however the issue is related to multithreading. I think your code requires join() call otherwise run time errors created such as new futures cannot be scheduled after interpreter shutdown.

thank you for your code, but i have some troubles tu get it run.

I am Using Raspberry Pi 3 - V2 with Raspian Buster (latest Version) and Python 3.

When opening AudioRecorder.py there is an error in line 4 and 5. The libs cannot be imported.
I also cannot find any information to install this libs for Python.

Do you have any Sources for this libs on any idea what went wrong?
