Hi,

The plugin dosen't support the 1.16.5.
Server: Paper version git-Paper-570 (MC: 1.16.5) (Implementing API version 1.16.5-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)

Just not works on the tchat.

We use essentials maybe the format break ur plugin?
With the /msg * <@fire> a work but it's a essentials command sound weird.

Edit:
this plugin fuck all performance server (20 TPS with 50 players to 6 TPS.) Packet maybe not optimized

Sorry for my poor English.
Iridescent is a nice plugin and I found a bug in the latest version (1.2.2).

I use the default tag format. Tag Format: "<@{TAG}>"
And the gradient syntax in the spigot page. <$@lime>example<$@rust>
It will be resolved into plain text.

If I use <@lime> and <@rust> tags inside the <$ > tag:

<$<@lime>>example<$<@rust>>

It will be resolved correctly.

I have a message: <#D9D4D9>a<#D9D4D9>b
When trying to send it to the player, or just send it on chat - I get an exception: https://pastebin.com/ipZQ6sFc

If I change to message to e.g. <#D9D4D9>a<#D9D4D8>b, so just a difference of one hex byte - it all works ok. So it seems like the plugin has issues with displaying a message, if a specific color appears more than once
