Would it be possible option combine both protocols in one firmware and select them with a gesture at switch on?

I have flashed D16 firmware to my tiny X8, and when binding to XM+, I restart both X8 and Xm+ after the red led flashing (mean binding completed), it show not connected (red led flashing)

doing same thing on XM and it will success (green led), is it a bug ?

i searched for a transmitter with a switch push button for select fly modes trought :hover ;gyro ;3D;
only found ldarc tiny X8 with frsky D8 compatibility
work ok else the problem the 2way switch left button change the fly mode and the three way right switch dont act
it was obivously the 2way for the speed change & the 3way for the fly mode selection
now can just select trought VTOL or 3D modes
the seller who provided both was very fuzzy on the responsibility between items
tought my preference is to keep a vtol

but is it possible to mod the code of D8 firmware for it can match the E500
since i dont found people report using the switch button then im not sure if its a bug or if the plane is responsible
but it seem more possible to change the D8 code than to found a transmitter of the same design(ps2)
duno if i will have to make myself a mod or if its a fix to wait

for the futur i asked if the BNF frsky M620 mirabot of the same design will be compatible with the ldarc tiny X8 and the seller answered than manufacturer said no its not but im not sure if its because i complaint for this actual problem where he certified compatibility

I recently got an BetaFPV branded version of this controller to try to use for a robot project where a discreet small controller would be handy.

So fist off it bound right off the bat to a FrSky X8R receiver I already had at hand without doing any firmware flashing.

Though the channel order seems to be wrong the Aileron channel is outputting through channel 1.

Not a big deal by itself, but while checking for proper failsafe, by turning the radio on and off, if stick center wasn't seen the output of channel 1 was 1050 until stick center was achieved.

This also manifested as a short 1050 command at initial connection.

Any help would be appreciated.

I really like the transmitter but it really bothers me that there is a deadband in the D16 firmware so i dug into it and found that in the file adc.c there is a line with the content
"if((IRV_ADValue > 1719) || (IRV_ADValue < 1319)) IRV_ADValue = 1519 ;"
I removed it but sadly I'm not experienced enough to compile this into firmware. Could you release a version without dead band in the sticks? Would be very thankful for that.

with frsky d16 everything are still good but try with frsky d8 and external frsky d8 rx i have some problem.

For a hackathon project I'm interested in using the controller just as a transmitter, and send from my PC via USB the values for each channel to the controller, instead of using the joysticks.

So I could write a program for my PC that controls the drone. Does anyone have some suggestions? Or is there something similar already implemented?
