English GUI is supported from 1.242v.

There are many places that have been translated incorrectly because the translation is not perfect yet.

Please tell me where it's not translated or where it's wrong

Is there a way to turn off the rotation of the text whatsoever? I don't know why but sometimes OCR just do this stuff and I can't find anything in the settings to help myself

Hey i ran into a problem when trying to run the program. It is not on the error list on blog.naver.com so I dont know how to deal with it.
Tried several things as it said something about MORT_CORE and D:\project\MORT...:

• Checked DLL folder and MORT_CORE is there
• Checked D drive but there are no such directory there
• Also tried to move the folder from C drive to D drive but to no end.

I couldnt install similar OCR app YomiNinja as well (doesnt work for both the app ver and the build ver) so potentially there are something wrong with my windows (got a virus attack lol, but everything else is fine)

Программу можно серьёзно упростить. Откажитесь от устаревших OCR-движков. Есть современная нейросеть - PaddleOCR и хорошая обёртка для неё - PaddleOCRSharp by raoyutian. Только один недостаток - поддерживаются только английский и китайский языки, всё остальное просто блестяще. Если это принять, то Вы получите огромный прирост в качестве распознавания и сможете совершенно отказаться от предобработки изображения. Совсем.

С практической точки зрения все переводчики кроме мобильного Гугла имеют разного рода ограничения. Используйте только его. Потребуется подготовка текста под его формат, чтобы получить наилучший результат. Но это лучше, чем иметь несколько сервисов перевода, ни один из которых даже не близок к совершенству.

Итого, ограничив распознавание только английским и китайским языком Вы сможете добиться отличных результатов и сосредоточить усилия на распознавании текста на экране в реальном времени, что и требуется Вашим пользователям. Так же изучите программу Luna Translator - она на языке Питон, но там можно узнать много полезного для Вашего проекта.

Getting this error every time I open the program, clicking the "Apply" button or finishing quick setting. As the result, settings are not applying. Pic 2 is coming after the first one (it's saying application is shutting down) but nothing happens.

By the way russian translate is bad and breaking the interface, how can I change it to english?

Hi. I'm facing a very big problem for me. In the translator settings, you can select a specific window (application) that will be translated. But also there you can choose not a window, but a computer screen (display). I select it, click "ok", but after that an error pops up: "This window cannot be captured. Make sure the window is activated."
Please help me solve this problem. This is the best translator that will help me a lot if I can translate the screen and not the computer window. The application that I want to translate into my native language, its interface with many phrases and words are in separate large and small windows. The "display translation" function + text translation overlay is just right for this. I will be very glad and grateful if you explain to me how to fix this error.

I have tried to use your repo, I have done this: git clone your_repo_url
Open it with Visual Studio 2022 (version 17.10.3)
Update 3 nuget packags to the latest version.
Build the solution, but I got 37 compiler errors.
Since I am not interested to really build this complicated project, but I want to know if I can use part of your repo to do simple OCR job. I need the OCR job to be done locally without send big volume of images online to remote server for processing, since it is not in real time, and no privacy.
I show you a very simple and easy image, let's say its name is: "C:\Images\1.png", I show you the image as an attachment. If I can use your repo to do the OCR job, please show me the simple code for this.

Hi, first of all, I would like to thank you for this program. It's exactly what I was looking for and it works beautifully. My favorite mode is the overlay mode. However, take a close look at the picture. In overlay mode, it writes over the background subtitles, but the subtitles in the background are still readable. Can we adjust this transparency setting ourselves? It would have been great if we could have adjusted it. Frankly, I looked through the settings a lot but couldn't find an option for this. I made some changes, but it didn't work. I would appreciate it if you could help, and even if such a feature doesn't exist, I would be very happy if you could introduce it. When the program generates subtitles, I don't want to see anything in the background.

How to repeat bug

1. Open MORT
2. Go to General Settings
3. Choose WinOCR
4. click add aditional language button (that one in korea)
5. pop up would you like to go to additional language setting windows... click ok
6. System open windows language setting
7. Click Ad language
8. select and chose vietnam language
9. install it
   10.restart to applied effect on system
10. Open MORT
11. go to general tab
12. choose winocr
13. select language
14. Vietnam language not being added to mort choice.

Hi, MORT work great with text on dark background, but do you have any trick for some games that don't have a dark background option for subtitles.
I played full story game Wild Heart with MORT and work great because game have in options dark background for subtitles

Currently, the translation in the overlay is displayed as left to right text (LTR), which is not suitable for Arabic script. Arabic should be displayed from right to left (RTL) to ensure proper readability and user experience for Arabic-speaking users.

it is not enough to set alignment to right. the issue happens when there are some English words that have no direct Arabic translation so the translation ends up messy as an example for this text :

the issue should be fixed by changing the translation text direction to right-to-left before displaying the result on the overlay.

Could you add the option to completely remove the opacity of the bubbles? Thanks

The text translated in overlay mode goes out of the screen's boundaries/borders. Can you add an option where there is a certain extent the text could go and go to the line below? The only solution right now is to make all the text smaller.

Hey there! love this app, actually it used to work fine, after updating windows and coming back to it, seems it doesnt work now, ive set it up many different ways, but no results are showing, regardless of if i use overlay or text box etc, when choosing window i can see that the console is doing something but my NLLB api isnt recieving any requests, ive tried with deep l and google but both doing nothing

when trying to do image adjustment, i do noticed it pops up with an error, im not sure if this applies to it but maybe it does

I can't promise that the translation will be perfect, but it will be easier for Russian-speaking users to understand the program. I can also translate the githab pages into Russian.

According to the description in #11, I have translated the text to Simplified Chinese (most based on English, and partially using GPT and DeepL to translate from Korean, may have some incorrect translations).

If possible, please add Chinese translation to the interface. Thanks.

Additionally, I think you can consider using translation contribution tools similar to Crowdin to facilitate future software updates and multilingual support.

this program only make copy results Ocr, doesn't have create Translate Results to clipboard, if will be amazing if have this function, nice work pro :D

I kindly request the addition of EasyOCR to MORT. EasyOCR's impressive accuracy and multilingual support would undoubtedly enhance the functionality of MORT.
