rei's Issues

Compile failure / inaccurate version bounds

Hi, I just stumbled over this compile failure with GHC 8.0 and your recent upload:

Configuring component exe:rei from rei-0.4.0.2
Preprocessing executable 'rei' for rei-0.4.0.2...
[1 of 1] Compiling Main             ( Main.hs, /tmp/matrix-worker/1480882783/dist-newstyle/build/x86_64-linux/ghc-8.0.1/rei-0.4.0.2/c/rei/build/rei/rei-tmp/Main.o )

Main.hs:126:42: error:
    • Couldn't match type ‘a’ with ‘Char’
        arising from the literal ‘" "’
      ‘a’ is a rigid type variable bound by
        the type signature for:
          checkRule :: forall a. (Eq a, IsString [a]) => [a] -> [a] -> Bool
        at Main.hs:119:14
    • In the first argument of ‘splitOn’, namely ‘" "’
      In the expression: splitOn " " list1
      In an equation for ‘list1'’: list1' = splitOn " " list1
    • Relevant bindings include
        list1' :: [[a]] (bound at Main.hs:126:25)
        list2' :: [[a]] (bound at Main.hs:127:25)
        list2 :: [a] (bound at Main.hs:120:17)
        list1 :: [a] (bound at Main.hs:120:11)
        checkRule :: [a] -> [a] -> Bool (bound at Main.hs:120:1)
