Allow users to override the configuration of `browserslist` about kcd-scripts HOT 4 CLOSED

if the configuration file exists, use that instead of the built-in.

That's exactly what happens. Create a .babelrc and kcd-scripts will use the one you created rather than the built-in one.

Another alternative is to fork this project. It's not a goal of this project to be universally useful. It's called kcd-scripts because it's scripts for me (Kent C. Dodds) :)

First, I very appreciate what you provide like this, and I use it for several projects, and I benefit from this so much. It's incredible, and I hope you could understand that the tool you built is rather general for many uses scenes. Maybe you can make it more popular 💯.

Then what I mean is that the configuration files like .browserslistrc or browerslist field in package.json. It's only for browerslist, no need to extend the preset you provide and change it in a hard way.

I have many popular open source projects so I know what it takes to make something popular and what it means for my free time when a project becomes widely used. The fact that I haven't made an effort to make this tool more generically useful is intentional. I don't have time to dedicate to making this project popular.

I still don't have any idea what you're asking by way of changes. What I recommend is to fork this repo and make your changes for your own use case. Then feel free to make a PR and that'll probably help me understand what you need better. Good luck.
