First of all, thanks for the spot-on code. I'd like to recommend an addition to your documentation.

Specifically, after calling the maybeGetRawHTMLDefinition method on the HTMLPurifier_Config object, the configuration object is no longer modifiable. This isn't widely known and might cause frustration among some users.

Changing that call to getHTMLDefinition(true, false) allows the object to remain mutable. after the new HTML5 definitions are added.

I'm unsure how this extension should be used with HTMLpurifier.

Could you provide any information to point me in the right direction? The documentation for the HTMLpurifier project seems quite verbose.
