Kenan's personal structured modpack for Cataclysm - Dark Days Ahead for LATEST experimental versions

1) IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY BUGS OR ERRORS - EITHER THE FIXES WILL BE RELEASED SOON-ISH OR THE MOD IS WIP ;

2) IF YOU USE CDDA LAUNCHER BY REMYROY - UPDATE THE GAME FIRST VIA LAUNCHER and ONLY AFTER that put the mods IN

Installation Guide (MUST-READ)

1) Download the modpack by clicking Code - Download ZIP, or clicking here ;

2) Copy mods that you want to play with (try NOT to enable ALL mods at the same time unless you really want to play with all mods) from the modpack folder (CDDA-Structured-Kenan-Modpack/Kenan-Structured-Modpack/High-Maintenance-Huge-Mods) as shown in the picture ;

3) Paste mods that you want to play with into the cdda/data/mods directory as shown in the picture ;

4) Overwrite and replace all the files if you get a prompt ;

5) Enjoy the mods

NEXT STEPS IF YOU USE THE LAUNCHER

6) Update the game via the launcher ;

7) Repeat 2) , 3) , 4) and 5) ;

8) Enjoy the mods

FAQ:

  • Q: Why should I remove manually some specific non-mainlined mods when updating?

    • A: Because sometimes some mod files become obsolete and no longer used, so you won't need them inside your mods folder anymore, so for dealing with these problems you need to delete the mod and fully reinstall it.
  • Q: After updating my save file no longer loading!

    • A: It is rare, but will happen when some mod that've been used in your save has new ID and/or name, or you're trying to load the mod that is no longer used/merged with other one. You can fix it by reading debug.log to view what's mod should be changed, then go to cdda\save\world_name\mods.json and replace target mod ID with the new one, or delete it's entry from this file if there is no replacement. Also, you can read latest commits to see what is happening, if you want
  • Q: I have some other issues to report!

    • A: Feel free to submit your issue into the issues tab.

Battle Maid: Human carry bag doesn't work

Starting as "Maid with master", provides you with a carry bag and your master. Once released, the master can't go back in the bag.

ERROR : src/iuse.cpp:9337 [cata::optional<int> iuse::capture_monster_act(player*, item*, bool, const tripoint&)] <color_c_light_green>|| </color>human-sized carry bag has no creature_size_capacity.

Segmentation fault when reloading 25mm chaingun

I am getting a segfault crash every time I try to reload an IFV's chaincannon with an ammo belt in my current game (experimental #11181). I am attaching the crash log here. I apologise if this is not caused by one of the installed mods, but I think Infantry Fighting Vehicles and their 25mm cannons are not part of the stock mods or BlazeIndustries.

Edit: This is also happening when reloading a 152mm HEAT shell into the main cannon. Cannot say a 100% it happens to all mounted turrets. I am talking about a wrecked Bradley IFV in the game with intact turrets that I am firing and reloading manually.

Insane Damage

Hello, I don't know if you maintain this mod, and forgive me if this has been posted as an issue before, but I could not find anything in the closed posts.
I believe this insane damage is coming from Abrahms Martial Arts. Whenever using the Heavy Knight style, I get huge numbers like this:

EDIT: Well, I decided to poke at the mod files and the title does say "Abrahms OP Martial Arts", so I guess it's my fault for adding it to my world's modlist.

Naming error in DeoxyMod

In Deoxy_vehicle_parts.json Line 160 should read "name": { "str": "upgraded solar panel" },
This error changes all installed "upgraded solar panel" to read "quantum solar panel" instead.

The Fallout_CDDA mod's value of monsters and weapons need tweak

Such as if you are using the Tri-beam AER9 Laser Rifle,which cost 50KJ in the heavy_battery for a shot,shoting the deathclaw,the monster in fallout that can kill a power armor man.You can easliy kill it by 2 shots,if you have the high marksmanship only need one shot in headshot,because the size of the deathclaw is BIG.

BL9 is doing great in this way,high damage for weapon means high hp for the hard-dealing monster.
So If you can tweak the weapon and monster in the fallout mod,I would be very appreciated!

Fires go out instantly

For some reason starting a fire in a brazier causes it to burn out in seconds without touching the fuel, regardless of amount of fuel in it.

Accidentally created this bug, wondering how to fix it.

Arcana mod_tileset issue

Hello!
So, I use the undead people (new version) tileset, and ran into an issue with Arcana.

The "compatibility" error showed up for each mod_tileset in \Arcana\mod_tileset\mod_tileset.json that didn't have an undead people option. This was easy enough to figure out. Just delete the entries on my local copy. No worries, yeah?

Then I ran into
Invalid or misplaced field name "overlay_ordering" in JSON data

Turns out, the

block should be at the bottom of the file, not the top.

Not sure who I should mention this to, as in the Arcana repository, the mod_tileset folder is only in the bright nights version. In this repository, it isn't.

Hope this helps someone else googling for the information someday in the future.

Segfault when loading guns

My game segfaults when I load any gun in a vehicle, (and vehicle guns too, it seems) with all gun mods loaded (except for generic guns) in the overrun scenario.
