Cars get stuck during game play (problem in Physics) about savagewheels HOT 2 CLOSED

Problem is in the poor handling of elastic collisions.

This bug requires major rewrite of the CVehicle class. The DoMotion() method must be rewritten to handle momentum and velocity vectors calculations after collision.

Some work has been done to address this in the branch inelastic_collision 494c507 . However, this is still far from fixed. The problem is not only in the Physics but also in the AI, so an easy solution is not really possible at this point.

A small 'hack' has been added in 353ce10. Each vehicle will now check every 2 seconds if it is stuck (no movement). In that case collision detection will be temporarily disabled for that vehicle. This will give the AI just enough time to readjust it's movement vector and escape the blockage.
