  • Web API is ASP.Net Core v2.1.1 running on top of .NET Framework v4.7.1

Deployment details

Instructions to run

  1. Clone the repo
  2. Open BenefitsCalculator.sln inside the BenefitsCalculator folder
  3. Verify BenefitsCalculator.WebApi is set as the startup project. If not, right click on it and choose 'Set as StartUp Project'
  4. Press F5 to start debugging. Note that when the browser launches you'll get an HTTP 404 error. This is fine, the API is still running
  5. If wanting to run the benefitsCalculator-angularClient locally connected to the local API, note the port number of the API
