In a flow, if you happen to have a figure caption that flows off the bottom of the column it will place the next content box on a new page at the same location instead of bumping the entire figure with caption to a new-line.

I think this underlines an important problem with flows in general which is that they flow so you have to cater the content to get the look you want. I think they can be useful but they seem less useful to me now than they once did.

Support in-line and block equations via latex

Changing the sample to 3 columns shows that the new column widths aren't being calculated correctly.
