@ovitovec FYI, I again replaced everywhere WO --> WP, you can do it as well next time :), just edit existing comments. Moreover I deleted old screenshots to clean up this thread a little.

@ovitovec How about some "Overview" button to zoom out on the entire plan, and a "Center" one that shows current week ?

@ovitovec What is the rationale behind seeing the zoom you are proposing?

When I load (basically any) WP - the calendar is set to some level of zoom. This typically show the very beggining of tasks but it does not show its ending. You have to manually zoom out and find where tasks end. For me, it would be more comfortable when it shows the begining and the end of all tasks when the WP is load.
Sorry for very bad quality, i will try to send better screenshots.

This is how the calendar is load:

This is how I would like to be loaded (same WP).

I consider it a medium priority (easy to implement).

But at the same time, I am unsure if I agree that It should be the default for all WPs. I think, for running WPs It might be more useful for users to see the current week by default -- i.e. I mean some detail that would show user the current date and sufficient context around. Thus for now until we find out if it is useful we can make it a default view, but I suggest also adding a button "Fit all tasks" somewhere e.g. next to "redo" button. This button will be there most likely just temporarily, so can be ugly :).

@ovitovec @LaChope what do you think about it?
@ovitovec Do you have an idea about another useful view? How about 6 days long interval <current-day - 1, current-day + 4 > ? Thus for current-day=Monday it shows till Friday ... If you think of something interesting, we can add a button for that as well -- so you guys could play with it :)

hmm, it can be really nice to have somewhere near redo buttom the buttom called "view" or something. When click on it some popup menu would be shown and user could choose the view: 1. fit all tasks 2. show this week 3. show today 4. show today -1 to +4 days interval... or something like this...
You are correct, that not always "fit all tasks" would be the best option for future users...
