When I try to export a map to an image on the top right. I get to choose a file name and hit save, a small pop up opens and closes right after, I am unable to read what it says. It is a pretty big world, is there a way this can be done?
I've just updated MCView to version 3.1.0 and now I get the this error message mcview quit unexpectedly. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple. (as also seen in the attached screen shot.)
The randomly generated directory name is shown as the world name, like the following screenshot.
The reason is that LeftPanel just shows the directory names.
I suggest to show the world name in levelname.txt instead.
Workaround
Rename directories from the explorer.
The world directories are in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_<build>\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds.
Minecraft still works with no problems, even if we change them.
I tried to build the project on Linux. I don't know if it's possible but I would like to run mcview on Linux. Even though I'm not very familiar with cmake, I could run "cmake ." at the root level and build the project successfully. After this step however, I didn't find any executable files. I had a Makefile though so I tried to run "make -j4" in hope that it would build the mcview executable. Unfortunately, it failed.
