This was from an assignment of U-Mich's 'Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python', a MOOC available on Coursera (https://www.coursera.org/learn/python-plotting). Data was given for Milford, CT (zip 06460)

Data source is derived from a subset of The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) Daily Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN-Daily).

Files in this repository:

  • weather data_cleaned.csv : Min/Max daily temperature data from 28 stations in the region from 2005-2015
  • Code.py : Churns data & ultimately plots daily high/low temps from 2005-2014, and highlights 2015 temps that set new records.
  • Temperature Plot.png : resulting plot from 'Code.py'
