Some emoji don't render properly

It was pretty much assumed that github would handle rendering emoji rather than relying on client devices. Just noticed on github mobile that there are some items which do not render correctly and better alternatives should be made available

Change of project structure

Project should promote community contributions rather than hinder it... without promoting spam or diluting the content quality (this is a curation after all).

This started out as some copy-paste links sorted by region, then added some meta-mojis to aid discoverability. The actual content structure atm is less of an issue since a single contributor can quite easily manage it, but a more suitable project structure might be useful, especially as the project grows. Migrating sooner rather than later would be best.

Personally, I quite like the structure of https://github.com/awesomedata/awesome-public-datasets but I'm not sure it's worth trying to muck about with slackbots and whatnot when everything can rather be pretty easily managed through github directly.

Alternatively, a dedicated static site with gh-pages and actions isn't too difficult to set up either. Interested in opinions of what people seem to think is the best approach.

Thanks

Just to say thanks ... been wondering if such a list existed.

Monitoring list utilisation, utility, and value

Because the bulk of this repo is just a text list with links, it makes it exceedingly difficult to know how much value it provides and traditional metrics and insights (e.g. forks, activity, page views etc) aren't really relevant.

I don't have an awful lot of time to curate this list, test services, or search and evaluate new ones, so I will use reactions to this issue as an indicator of how much value it provides the community and whether it is worth additional effort, or whether I should just remove it entirely.

I'll assume ๐Ÿš€ means you're using it and I shouldn't delete it.
