Add a navbar link to blog after projects . Its link is https://kamandprompt.github.io/blog.
In the PR please add a screenshot after adding.

In the home page, we should be adding the projects section -
List of projects to go is discussed here.
All the project descriptions can be taken from their repos in KamandPrompt.
Before commiting, I think it'd be better to discuss the design as this is an important part of the website.

When we click on the Kamand Prompt logo in the navbar at the GSoC Page, it redirects to a the same page, IMO it should redirect to the main webpage.

The current stage of website UI is great. However, from what I see, there is no functionality currently on the website. Also, it seems that the website you are aiming at is a single page website and not a blog website. What I would personally prefer is a blog website where people can post blogs, documentation, tutorials, etc. A website from scratch will be a pain for the current and future developers.

For that, it would be great if you build upon an existing template or a framework rather than going from scratch. One of the highly used frameworks is Jekyll which is used by many websites, including the website of Programming Club, IIT Kanpur(the UI in their website is very bad, though the functionality is good).

I recently created my website using Minimal mistakes jekyll theme since it is super customizable and feature rich and it would be great if you have a look at it. Combining your UI with the power of jekyll would make a great website.

This is a styling issue. As shown in the image, the link, visited and hover attributes for the hyperlink Scroll down to know more should be set to inherit or whatever suits the best.
As an addition, I'd suggest a fa-icon (for instance, a down arrow) below the hyperlink, to enhance the UI.

Add Seo tags for search engine discovery.

Any first year can take this up.

With reference to #53 , good work adding the navbar on the blog. But I would also like a Home link on the navbar, because it is better in terms of user readability, and how easily user can navigate on our page. Currently it is on the left hand side of the website, and is bound to be missed by the user. Hence, add a home link on the navbar.

Add a new C3 webpage which should have at least these 3 basic sections:

• About Section
• Team Section
• Brief about events conducted by the club round the year
  You can decide the UI and add any other fields which you feel can be added.

Delete the website hosted at kamandprompt.github.io and update README.md

A team section on the homepage is required with the member names, details and pics.

Update the current coordinators of all the clubs associated with PC and create a legacy page maintaining all the previous club coodinators.

The footer looks too small. Try improving it by adding Contact Us and Website Navigation links in Footer. Border above the footer should also be included.

In the home page, we should get started by adding the about section.
The content is up to discussion here or in Zulipchat. I feel it can go something like this -
"KamandPrompt is the student programming club that tries to innovate and foster technical activities and create a coding culture in fields like competitive programming and development. We develop cool stuff that benefits everyone in the campus, organise programming contests, hackathons, coding classes, prepare of ACM ICPC, GSoC etc. The club brings people together that are interested in honing their skills in programming and contribute towards the society."

Change the banner background to something which matches the light theme.

Include somewhere (possibly in the landing area) that KP is the programming club of IIT Mandi.

Currently the website's URL is kamandprompt.github.io, which is OK for the start. But I would like this to become as kamandprompt.iitmandi.ac.in OR pc.iitmandi.ac.in (whatever you guys like). In order to do that, we will need to host this website on our own server, and SNTC server is the best for it. @aashish-ak and Prabhakar know much about the hosting. I would like everyone to work on this starting now, since the site has taken a basic structure.

Most probably, the padding got messed up for the icons in the about section.

Currently the "In Development" of SNTC Server project opens in a new tab as a link. But it doesn't have to be link and shouldn't be have an effect on click or hover.

This is more of a design issue. The home page's banner look awkwardly empty, with a comparatively small typewriter text. There can either be addition of appropriate elements/svgs or perhaps increase the font size.

As years go by the GSoC page will keep on increasing and will be very lengthy. We can have each year as a list hidden and clickable which upon clicking unveils the list. By default the latest year would be unveiled on load. Each dropdown will be like an accordion.
Idea is to something like this (not the design) just a reference for the concept.

Add the currently in development project Codemaniacs to ongoing projects panel

The textual logo "KamandPrompt" on the navigation baar looks good, but we need the Programming Club logo like the one attached for the the website. Also check if it can match with the colour scheme, else we need to change that too.

Why does the Project SNTC Server Github link opens up this page
IMO the link should be more explanatory and should open up a relevant page wrt the project.

The collapsible navbar button on https://pc.iitmandi.co.in/project_contributors is not working.

How to reproduce:

• go to https://pc.iitmandi.co.in/project_contributors

• resize window

• when collapsible navbar button is visible, click it.

Expected behaviour

Clicking this button should expand the navbar.

Test

This line of .quote .btn has an incomplete background-color attribute. See if it is required, and if it is, fix it appropriately., if not remove the it entirely.

Include projects like CodeManiacs, Search_Guru, Faculty Availability, Youtube Downloader etc. in the projects section of the website.

Create a generic index.html with basic initialisation, along with a navbar having SSH-IITMandi and tabs such as about, projects.
Make a PR with or without CSS done, only basic HTML setup can also made and then a PR.

Image size on https://pc.iitmandi.co.in/project_contributors is not consistent (on small-screened devices).

How to reproduce:

• go to https://pc.iitmandi.co.in/project_contributors

• resize window

• See inconsistent sized images.

Expected behaviour

All images should have same size.

Instead of displaying projects one after another, it will be good to display them in two columns..

It seems the navbar links overflow at some resolutions . Probably shift to a responsive font size then just px like em

Add the students that were selected for GSoC 2019.

The Homepage is not completely responsive. The footer height needs to be modified for different screen sizes. The Navigation Bar also doesn't seem quite responsive.
