autotimer's Issues

Chrome URL is not displayed

Hello,
It's a great piece of Project; i tried to replicate in my windows laptop.
I see that, whenever i browse in Chrome, there is no json entry. am trying to find the rootcause, but not solved it yet.

Application name not always prefixed

A lot of applications don't prefix their window title with the application name. This results in some unclear attributions. Ideally the application name would be a new attribute recorded in the JSON but even just as a prefix to the existing "name" would be beneficial.

Selenium

Hi! Not sure how else to contact you but I am trying to use this python program to further my learning with programming and trying to create something like it myself (without just using yours and/or copying it). I see you have Selenium as a dependency but I don't see where you have imported it or are using it. Could you provide some insight?

I had just closed Chrome. Had the same issue earlier when closing Visual Studio Code.

Application name changes letter by letter when searching

Because of the new refresh rate (which I think was a great addition!) it picks up all changes within the title change - when the title is dynamic based on searches, or setting subject in outlook email, etc, this results in a new "name" being generated for each new key press.
Not sure what the resolution is without affecting the refresh rate.

Not able to run it. ON Linux (Ubuntu 18.04)

ERROR:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "autotimer.py", line 2, in <module> from AppKit import NSWorkspace ImportError: No module named AppKit

selenium and AppKit are installed. Still, it's not working. Please help.

Env on git repository ?

"python.pythonPath": "env/bin/python2.7"

I don't know if it is a best practice to put the env and the vscode configuration on the git repository. Moreover, if I can add an advice, I think it would be more appropriate to use something like pipenv in order to manage dependencies.

It would automatically add the dependencies in files for your viewers to use without exposing your env.

BTW, your videos on youtube are amazing.
