It's causing a re-render when you zoom in

There's the basic stats, then there's the deep dive. Need to think through when to open each and how to

Need replicates to protect against sources going down on us.

We need to be able to select either infection rate, total cases, or deaths in the Y axis and a number of things in the X axis. We should also plot a basic linear regression on the graph to show what's "normal".

Start digging through the sources Karthik sent afterwards to figure out good things to add on the X axis.

This should hopefully be fairly straight forward on the frontend, just a matter of generalizing the things, similar to how the map functions.

Should be able to use scale extent and what not to do it

Need a CSP so only our website can make requests to the server

Due to moving things around for the mobile / tablet view, the original assumptions for how to format things is now off.

For one, transitioner should probably be inside a relative container, and two, the box-shadows should move into browser instead of the components + many other things

So when they zoom in and out of the graph, we still know how to render it

In production, the data takes a few seconds to ping over. We should add loading states to the svg elements and other places.

We should also cache the data locally on the frontend to start with, only refreshing it every 30 minutes or so. This can go as an LRU locally, there isn't too much data, just < 10 mb in total. Might be worth investing in index DB here

Then globally check for it so we can update the view. Trying to do this on a file by file basis is a nightmare
