When attempting to clear all items, the last item does not get removed.

When the list of clipboard items is empty, the indicator icon is still shown, but does nothing when clicked. This should be changed so that the indicator is hidden when there are no items.

If a user copies some text which already appears in the list, the entry should be moved to the bottom of the list. Presently, the new copy is ignored.

When the user has selected items to clear and goes back to normal mode, it should pop a dialog first confirming that the items should be cleared.

The popup menu should automatically close when the user finishes clearing items.

Zebra striping doesn't take account for items getting dynamically removed or added

If the currently selected clip is cleared from the list, the last clip in the list should then be selected by default.

At present, if the user tries to clear the selected item, it gets added back into the list.

After locking the computer and coming back to it later, the clipboard is empty, despite the last selected entry still being highlighted in the menu.

If the user copies text which already appears in the list, the indicator doesn't update to select that item. For example, user copies the text 'Hello, World!', and then copies the text 'Goodbye!', the indicator is set on 'Goodbye!', as it should. However, if the user then copies the 'Hello, World!' text again, a new item does not get added (expected behaviour) and 'Goodbye!' remains selected, even though the actual text in the clipboard is 'Hello, World!'.

The feature/clear_items branch has basic desired functionality, but is very messily coded -- it uses lots of conditionals instead of keeping state in a tidier way.

When a folder/file etc is copied to the clipboard, you can't paste it in Nautilus because the extension is manipulating the clipboard during the polling operations.
