HackRF support about ais-catcher-for-android HOT 5 CLOSED

Not directly, but in another discussion, it seemed that a user managed to run AIS-catcher via RTL-TCP ANDRO (#4). You select as source RTL-TCP in my app.

RTl-TCP ANDRO supports the HACKRF so that might be a route that you could try. One issue might be that the one of the apps does not support the necessary sample rate but that is something I can quickly add if needed.

Worth a try via this route? If I have free minute this weekend will give it a try as well.

Unfortunately does not work as this driver uses a modified protocol for the HackRF but that might be an easy fix.

I looked into this but it is too much work. The alternative is to include the native hackrf libraries but they have quite a few dependencies so doable but quite a lot of work. So, unfortunately, little hope to see HackRF support.
