Equalithon - one week long hackathon that addresses issues in the workplace related to inequality.
Identify issues with ICT's (Institute for Career Transitions) website and find ways to improve their visibility.
A few issues we wanted to tackle included bringing clarity to their offerings (we found that it was confusing to understand what they actually offered to customers), clearly indicate Membership benefits and showcase events. One of the main ways that they gain new customers is through word of mouth, so we wanted to incorporate ways for visitors to easily share an event with their contacts and through social media, and also easily contact ICT.
