Hi Juan!
Could you please give me a hint, why is this happening?
This is exponential RGB chips displayed as Davinci Intermediate with applied 2 instances of NormSphericalCoords.dctl. I get this artifacts starting slightly above 10k nit.
So the input to NormSphericalCoords.dctl can be considered as scene linear. After 2 instances of NormSphericalCoords.dctl for sandwiching I use CST to go from Linear to Davinci Intermediate.
Or this is the issue with the RGB chips itself, not NormSphericalCoords.dctl?

Hi, is the tone curve for HLG correct? It is brighter compared to BT.1886 one, when it usually is darker to match the SDR image (like in ACES). The output image is also "too bright" or "has too much contrast" compared to the SDR grade when viewing side by side (exposure adjusted)
