Figma and Sketch templates for generating iPhone App Store screenshots

Open the Figma or Sketch file to view step-by-step instructions.

How it Works

Insert ten screenshots of your iPhone app into symbols at both iPhone 8, 8 Plus, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max sizes.

Edit ten additional symbols containing backgrounds and captions.

Choose from a variety of iPhone devices to frame your shots (including "Clay" options).

Command + Shift + E: Generates all the sizes required by the App Store for iPhone 4, SE, 8, 8 Plus, 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max.

Enjoy! ๐Ÿ‘Š

Stuck at "Put your art here" step with Figma

I am stuck at "Put your art here" step with Figma. I select the layer named "Put your art here", then select "File > Place Image". As a result screenshot of my app is displayed but the case of the phone disappears. Can you please explain how to do this with basic steps?

iPhone 11 Pro Max screenshot does not scale correctly

Figma Desktop App release 86
shots 4.0

Steps:

  1. Make a 1242x2688 iPhone Pro Max screenshot
  2. Navigate to 2. EDIT THESE SYMBOLS
  3. Click on iPhone_art/11ProMax/1 and paste the screenshot from step 1
  4. Navigate to 3. PREVIEW ARTBOARDS FOR EXPORT and observe the result

Expected: The whole screenshot is visible in 6.5-inch_iPhone_11ProMax/1
Actual: The screenshot is only partially visible

I tried placing the screenshot in different layers but no luck. What am I doing wrong please?

iPhone Xs Max (6.5") now required in Connect

First, thanks for this resource! It's very awesome!

I'm sure this is easier said than done, but it would be awesome to have a iPhone Xs Max(6.5") skin included as I believe thats one of the new size requirements beginning in March of this year.

Thanks again!

Android Devices

Thank you for share your excellent work.

Do you have something similar to Android Devices?

Multi language?

What's the best way to handle different languages? A file per lang?

10 Screenshots, instead of 5

Hey,

Thanks a lot for the template, works great and easy.
Any chance the amount of templates could be bumped up from 5 to 10, since the App Store supports 10 screenshots in total, for each device?

Right now I have two files, with 5 each ๐Ÿ™‚

Is iPhone XS Max supported?

Hi,

This is an amazing project. I was looking for something like this for a while.

Is iPhone XS Max supported? There is a workaround, but it's not so efficient, as it is placing an iPhoneX (much smaller) into the iPhoneXS Max background. Too much space wasted.

Is there a proper way of supporting this? Officially we need 6.5" (XS MAX) and 5.5" (8 Plus). The rest is scaled down automatically anyway.

I hope this project is still maintained.

Thanks,
Houman

Missing screen sizes before export

In the preview artboards for export, I see the iPhone 678Plus, but there is no place to put screenshots for them in the "Edit these symbols" part. I'm not too familiar with Sketch, so perhaps I'm missing something?

Bizarre situation where one of the images exports as wrong size

I have shots 3 and 4 showing here. I can see NO difference between the 2. Yet, if I export, 3 gives me a really low resolution and 4 gives me the proper one (1242x2488). I wasted a stupid amount of time trying to figure this out today. Could find no difference in the values in the inspector, and all the other images (1, 2, and 4) imported properly. Just need a clue as to how this could happen.
