HortiBlog is a passion project I work on in my free time, using technologies like React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Firebase, and styled-components. My mission is to educate both new and seasoned growers by sharing proven, scientific methods that go beyond anecdotal advice or "bro-science." As a passionate gardener and the sole operator of this site, I am dedicated to fostering a community of informed gardeners who can make better decisions for their plants, the environment, and themselves. Through in-depth articles, expert insights, and practical tips, I aim to empower my readers with the knowledge and confidence they need to grow and thrive in their gardening journey.

• Browse and search for blog posts by topic or keyword, making it easy for users to find relevant content
• Responsive design for seamless user experience across mobile and desktop devices

• Optimize images using PNG compression to improve site performance and loading times
• Improve Lighthouse Accessibility scores to ensure the website is user-friendly and accessible to all users

• Improve the content management system (CMS) for easier administration and management of blog posts
• Enhance Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to increase website visibility and reach a broader audience

• Offer a dark mode for users who prefer a darker interface
• Integrate social media sharing options for users to share their favorite content with their network
• Add a newsletter subscription feature to keep users informed about new content and updates
• Implement a user forum with authentication, allowing members to engage in discussions and share their knowledge
• Searchbar to catch queries from all routes/posts
• Add a rating system for blog posts, allowing users to rate the content based on its usefulness
• Add a comment system, allowing users to leave feedback on individual blog posts
