norespawnscreen's Issues

Massive Code Cleanup

Version: latest
Issue: code is verry messy reflection convert to access transformers when possible.

Spectator Errors

Using /kill in spectator renders the player in a half dead half alive trance, when the chat is opened its permanently open and using /kill again does nothing, an error appears saying "An unexpected error occurred while attempting to use this command"

You literally have to force close the game and possibly loose progress, not to mention large modpacks have long load times

Items are permanently deleted instead of dropping

Version: No Respawn Screen 1.2.3, Evil Notch Lib 1.2.3.06, Forge 1.12.2-14.23.5.2838

Issue: Items do not drop. NRS and ENL are the only mods loaded.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch the game using the latest NRS and the latest stable ENL release
  2. Open a world and obtain some items
  3. Run /kill or die in any other way
  4. Return to the point of death and observe the lack of items

Log: Available here. Summary: I enter a superflat world, spawn two stacks of stone, and execute /kill. I then run /testfor to confirm that none of the stone is simply clipped into the ground or otherwise displaced - it was not dropped at all.

ModPack/ModList: Only NRS and its dependency

Additional note: I have also tested this with the latest Evil Notch Lib beta release, however the issue still occurred. Furthermore, I have observed that Quark's "Totem of Holding" grave entity does not spawn on death when that mod is included, however I have not tested it in isolation. It is likely caused by the same issue. Enabling Slow Respawn fixes the problem entirely, but it is not desirable to have the default config setting permanently delete an inventory's worth of items.

update sleep called twice

update sleep called twice when respawning player. Fix is unload player from the world player list without calling update sleep flags. This causes packets to all players in dim * 2

[Suggestion] Execute Commands

This Mod is pretty handy, thanks for the effort you put in. ๐Ÿ‘

Here is my suggestion:

  • When the player dies, execute a list of commands

Opportunities:

  • Commands can be used to trigger something
  • Game Stages can be changed
  • Mods can Teleport the player to a respawn location (not to his bed) [Story / Lore]

Mechanic:

  • Execute Commands as Player or Server
  • Execute Commands Silent / Loud in Chat

Optional - When Possible:

  • Allow Commands while the player is death (not respawn yet for some frames) - Enable things like spawning a Block where he died / Explode / Spawn Particles / Post Location in Chat / etc.

Would love to see this, at the moment I have to find an workaround to get the player back to the Starting Dimension when he die ( and not to his Bed).
