Hey @joshkoenig! Great project. Just wanted to point out that we have something similar for D7, a basic site with REST, and a couple of clients for the front end, one of them being Angular. You can see it here: https://github.com/Lullabot/copelandia

Love to hear your thoughts.

For example, if i want to create a node / load a node, i would like to do something in my js like

headlessDrupal.loadNode(1);

instead of call it from html. Using getElementByID seems ok but i think it is too long. Any idea ?

I had created a fork and having post / view to D8. Im delighted to make a pull request if joshkoenig want to make this project better :)

I'd like to be able to reuse the same content you are in setting up future demos. I'm currently working on a Web Components based demo that doesn't use angular. If the read permissions are set liberally enough on your demo site I should be able to access your content without much of a performance penalty.

I am getting this error http://local.drupal8-host.dev:8000/node/2 401 (Unauthorized).Any idea what's is wrong with my setup? Basically I just followed the instructions on README.

I am not sure if I understand #3 Copy in the provided rest.settings.yml configuration. though.
