The PIN the user inputs is stored in an instance of NSUserDefaults. This would be better suited to the iOS Keychain, especially if further authentication methods are added in the future, such as a text-based password.
When running the framework under iOS 8 (currently beta 4) the animations between the various stages make part of the screen black.
How to recreate:
Load an instance of the PINSetupViewController, input a 4 digit PIN and see the animation
