For some reason the @import statement in inject.css fails.

Below is a screenshot of ello.co with the extensions installed and enabled.

The font is serif, not Muli:

After installing Muli on my laptop, the font on ello.co was corrected, probably why it worked initially on your machine.

The way chrome interprets injected css somehow invalidates the @import statement. Here's the closest I could find to an implementation of the content script feature in the chromium source code. Maybe it simply appends the new css to the end of the style element in the document.

Switching over to javascript as a means of inserting google fonts could fix the issue. See https://www.google.com/fonts#QuickUsePlace:quickUse/Family:Muli.
