figma-slack-updates's Issues

script on Heroku not registering updates made in Figma

Hi, Jordan! Thanks for making this project and sharing it with the community.

I'm running into an issue where the python update.py script is returning 0 when there are updates (which I can verify by manually running the script from the Heroku console).

Any idea why it would be failing when running from the script, but succeeding when run manually? And is there anything I can do to resolve that?

Post to multiple channels

Thanks so much for this – I’ve already set it up for my team and we’re all really excited to have this.

What is the best way to have the job post the same message to more than one – using the same Heroku app if possible?

Figma txt updates

Following the same idea would it be possible to create a plugin to generate a txt file or a formated HTML or even a text inside a Figma with the changelog do be run manually inside Figma?

Updates in real-time

Hi, Jordan! Thanks for sharing this amazing project and it's gonna be really helpful for our team.

Our Team manage multiple projects, and we set our slack channel will receive all the updates once a day.

So I have a one question. Is there any way to get the notifications in real-time? – using the same Heroku app if possible?

ImportError: Mapping <> Collections

This is amazing! We want to get it to work, but when running the test command, we get the following error:

"ImportError: cannot import name 'Mapping' from 'collections' (/app/.heroku/python/lib/python3.11/collections/init.py"

KeyError: `version'

Hi guys I'm new here, I saw this is figma-slack-update really helped me to track my design system. I try the tutorial in Readme, but got this error.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/app/update.py", line 44, in <module>
    get_updates()
  File "/app/update.py", line 16, in get_updates
    versions = data["versions"]
KeyError: 'versions'

Anything I missed?

Change icon name

Thank you very much for creating this awesome link! However, I wonder how I can change the icon image of the bot I created. Could you help me with that? Thanks in advance!
