I'm trying to use Memcached adapter.

For my own cache engine I need to have access to the memcached $driver variable from adapter instance.

For that, I would extends the framework Memcached class but the $driver variable has private access.

Could it be protected ?

The max cache lifetime can only be 59 minutes right now because of how the timestamps are processed. Probably should fix this.

PSR-16 was recently approved which is a simplified version of the PSR-6 interfaces. Should this package aim to support PSR-16 as well as PSR-6, or only support one or the other?

Since we have a cache adapter which only works on the Windows platform (WinCache), we should add AppVeyor for this repo to run the tests for that adapter.

I can reproduce both of these on my local system, so it's possible to get a bit more info from that.

1) Joomla\Cache\Tests\Adapter\MemcachedTest::testGetAndSaveWithTimeout
Should store the data properly
Failed asserting that false is true.

The response code from the adapter's save method is 17, which according to https://secure.php.net/manual/en/memcached.constants.php a PHP constant doesn't exist for, but it corresponds to a memory allocation failure.

2) Joomla\Cache\Tests\Adapter\RedisTest::testGetAndSaveWithTimeout
Checks expired get.
Failed asserting that true is false.

This one looks like the cache TTL is not being respected and an item that should expire isn't.
