to-vinyl NPM version

Convert an object to a vinyl file object. Safely mixes additional properties onto the file object without overwriting properties added by vinyl.

Install

Install with npm

$ npm i to-vinyl --save

Usage

var toVinyl = require('to-vinyl');

toVinyl({path: 'foo.hbs', content: 'this is foo'});
//=> <File "foo.hbs" <Buffer 74 68 69 73 20 69 73 20 66 6f 6f>>
