This Chrome extension allows users to quickly translate selected text on a webpage using a keyboard shortcut. Translations are performed via the MyMemory API and can be saved and downloaded as a CSV file.
- Translate selected text using
Ctrl+Q
(configurable). - Save translations with a click on the "Save" button in the popup.
- View translation history in a popup by clicking the extension icon.
- Download saved translations as a CSV file.
To install this extension:
- Clone the repository to your local machine.
- Open Google Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/
. - Enable "Developer mode" at the top-right.
- Click on "Load unpacked" and select the cloned repository folder.
The extension should now be installed and ready for use.
To use the extension:
- Highlight text on any webpage.
- Press
Ctrl+Q
to translate the selected text. - Click "Save" in the popup to save the translation.
- Click the extension icon to view saved translations.
- In the popup, click "Download CSV" to download the saved translations.
