• It's a bit overkill for this repo/keeps the repo small
• Including a class with the common name TestDataFactory can conflict with projects that use their own TestDataFactory class
• It doesn't even fully solve the use case of 'create some test data that will work in most/all orgs' - it only populates required fields, but could still fail in orgs with validation rules, etc

Switch the RestApi class to start using Url.getOrgDomainUrl().toExternalForm(). From the docs:

• "getOrgDomainUrl() always returns the same domain for your org, regardless of context. Use this method to build links to record URLs that work both in Lightning Experience and in Salesforce Classic, or as the domain when making API calls to your org."
