Using multiple local aliases of the same name should be perfectly safe, but for some reason they're interfering with one another.

This library is for prototyping only, since it embeds synchronous file-reads (requires) into your code - this should be clearly stated in the README.

Because require calls are synchronous, this library needs some kind of rewriter (probably using babel since it can already parse ES6+) to allow any published/production code to be easily rewritten to replace in-line 'get-me' require calls with variables assigned from normal require calls at the root of the script, moving the blocking code to a sensible place.

Until this is done, the README should be updated to make clear that using get-me embed sync calls into your scripts and is potentially a source of performance issues until the rewriter is usable.
