I would frequently like to inspect The Word in another Bible edition. This needs many actions today (German version):

• Hamburger menu
• Einstellungen
• Übersetzung
• Tap to select, getting back to Einstellungen
• Tap back button

Maybe there's an easier way.

Just ideas:

• swiping left/right navigates to another day, swiping up/down might navigate to another Bible (this may need multi-selection in the Translations list).
• remember the previous "other" Bible and easily get back to that one ("swap")

1. open app first time

4. choose the opposite of your system setting (so if system is dark, choose bright and if system is bright choose dark)
5. restart app

In the Settings, the list under Translations (German "Einstellungen" - "Übersetzung") starts "An Biobla Naofa 1981", "Zimbrisch", so it is not sorted by the displayed name.

Suggestion: sort by the displayed name.

Or even consider adding language information for grouping, example: Bible selection list in https://bible2.net/de/theword

Widget Schritfarbe should be Widget Schriftfarbe

some german i18n blocks are wrong, should be "Anzeige-Einstellungen", "App-Einstellungen", "System-Einstellung"

The widget shows <em> markup literally, like in 2019-05-01 NeueEvangelistischeUebersetzung: <em>Meine</em> Weisung an euch lautet: (John 15,12).

The app shows it in italics, as intended.

The bible2.net texts provide the Bible verses with meaningful line feeds, with lines at most 65 characters wide, like shown in https://bible2.net/de/theword.

On a narrow display, these lines will be additionally wrapped, so it looks nicer to ignore the pre-defined line-feeds.

But on a wider display (e.g. in landscape mode), the pre-defined line-feeds would make for a nicer reading.

Ideas:

• option to ignore pre-defined line-feed or not (or maybe "Show formatted", "Show as quote")
• automatically detect whether the display is wide enough (a.k.a. responsive - ignore line-feed below a certain width limit, like in https://bible2.net/de/theword)

current user agent is okhttp. It should be changed to something more specific

In the settings, when selecting a bible version, this list is currently only sorted by language code but in case there are several items for the same language code, these items are not sorted by name, but they should
