jupytercards's Issues

Works for url to json, but not with file or string

I have put flashcard definitions in a file called "flash.json". If I load that file from a URL the package works well. But, if I try any of these variants, it fails with Javascript Error: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'dataset')

display_flashcards('flash.json'). # a file ref

display_flashcards(open('flash.json').read()) # string of the json

display_flashcards(json.loads(open('flash.json').read())). # list of dictionaries

it seems like all three should work.

keyboard shortcuts possible?

Any idea how hard it would be to add keyboard shortcuts, e.g. space to flip card, and j/k for previous/next card?

Adding the tex/action plugin to MathJax breaks this library

Adding
#mathjax3_config: { loader: {load: ['[tex]/action']}, tex: {packages: {'[+]': ['action']}}}
to _config.yml in JupyterBook causes this library to throw an error about MathJax.Typeset.

Need to pursue this at some point. If anyone else needs me to fix this, comment here.
