Getting WITH_CUDA to work with MSVC 2015/2017 about suitesparse-metis-for-windows HOT 2 CLOSED

I encountered the same issue whilst trying to use this lovely package so am writing in case this may help.

I think the problem is that SPQR tries to load CUBLAS under the extern "C" wrapper but CUBLAS now has its own way of dealing with C++ compilers (by using the __cplusplus definition).
A hack around this is to include <cublas_v2.h> in the normal C++ mode before cholmod.h (or specifically cholmod_core.h) gets there.

As a workaround, if you just add the following lines just after #define SUITESPARSEQR_H in SuiteSparseQR.hpp and before the extern "C" bits, it should work:

#ifdef GPU_BLAS
#include <cublas_v2.h>
#endif
