ratemyvandyprofessors's Issues

Results come in manually; should be automatic

In order to get ratings, the user must click on the text at the top (anything under an h1 tag in practice), as shown below:

There is (commented out) code to make it load automatically in content.js, but it results in an infinite loop.

No results shown in modal window

Results are only shown on search pages or pages with multiple class listings; results are not shown in the modal window once you click on a class in order to get more information.

There is code in the update() function to select this area.

Some professors have different names in Class Search and RateMyProfessors

Because RateMyVandyProfessor relies on the professor's name as shown in Class Search, if the name does not align with RateMyProfessors, it will not be found. For example, running this extension on "Roth, Gerald" returns "N/A" because there is no "Roth, Gerald" in RMP; the professor is listed as "Roth, Jerry". A couple of these names are found in subs.js.

Multiple teachers with same name

If teachers have the same name, then the program does not recognize them as different (may have same [LAST, FIRST], but different middle initial). Specifically, there are two teachers by the name "William Robinson", but only the EECE professor appears and not the HIST professor.

No icon in the address bar to easily toggle

Certain Chrome extensions act on individual pages (such as this extension) and have an icon to perform actions in the address bar. Below, see Zotero's implementation (blue file/page icon next to the greyed out star):
