The designer needs to get a rewrite in total. Most important the TypeScript dependency should be removed and replaces by ES6. Also a SPA framework should be evaluated and use.
Apart from the JavaScript the CSS and styling needs to get a rewrite, this part is currently not made for a complete backend.
