This template should state the fields to fill out and most importantly state that no one should submit their assignment solution as a pull request to the repo.

When testing the example code for Lectures55 and above, I receive an error when I attempt to invoke Menu or Specials as they produce the errors below:

GET https://ychaikin-course5.herokuapp.com/categories.json 503 (Service Unavailable)
Failed to load https://ychaikin-course5.herokuapp.com/categories.json: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://localhost:3000' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 503.

The URL https://ychaikin-course5.herokuapp.com/categories.json provides an Application error* when accessed directly, so it appears this Heroku instance is not working correctly.

If I modify common.module.js, and change the URL to match the URL used in previous assignments to https://davids-restaurant.herokuapp.com, I can successfully test the code.

For a near-term solution, I can change this file for all examples for Example 55+. For the course, I suspect the best solution would be to update the original Heroku instance, unless there were plans to migrate.

Hi @ychaikin! I'm watching your AngularJS Coursera course, and I wanna say it's really awesome! Thank you!

Now down to business. In lectures 51-70 in src/public/public.routes.js you set state property absract instead of abstract. It doesn't crash the program because you don't try to switch over this state, but now you can achieve it.

Hope you fix it in future commits! Thank you million times for this great course!

e.g. lecture 25:
.constant('ApiBasePath', "http://davids-restaurant.herokuapp.com");

This causes a problem when students use example code as the basis for their assignments and find it works locally but not when deployed to github, and results in a not insignificant number of posts in the forums.

Solution: Replace all occurrences of http://davids-restaurant.herokuapp.com with https://davids-restaurant.herokuapp.com
