Is there a particular reason why not? Is it going to be difficult to
calculate a collision when rambo is running?

Which is a good point, but at the same time isn't this supposed to be a run and gun concept of a game? Kind of hard to work that if Rambo can't run and...well gun.
At the very least I'd say to allow the player the ability to shoot while running but cause Rambo to stop while shooting. If the player has to stop Rambo and then shoot, I think it'd be too frustrating.

It being a run and gun concept is my view as well. Just because there is no
animation doesn't mean he can't fire, the last functioning version we had
demonstrated that. I would also agree with Jarrett's suggestion of the
player being able to shoot and having Rambo stop. But I think this would
significantly reduce the fun factor of the game. @enoughredundancy do you
have an opinion?
