Is it possible to add also shortcuts for shuffle and repeat? Maybe with "alt +shift + S" and "+ R"

when I try to enter arrow keys as shortcuts in the settings page nothing happens.
Is there any workaround?

(same thing with Home, End, PageUp, PageDown)

When I am trying to set a different key combination though, I find that all options are greyed out. I also tried to change the defaults to the mediakeys in the manifest.json with no effect 🤦‍♂️
Do you know of any reason for this behavior? Thanks in advance :)

Hi Very great extension and while it give good used, for finding good song or so, can it be possible to add an automatic function ? As to skip .. have a that will be automaticaly press every 30sec .. That can be quite great.

So, i've installed this just five minutes ago. Latest firefox on MBP.

• How do I set "space"? If i put in a space ' ' char then on focus leave the previous value is put back. Typing in 'space' or 'Space' is not helping either.
• Can we disable individual actions? Just leaving an entry blank, say on 'save track' just means that on focus leave the old value is put back in.
• We can see that if you install this afresh, there is left and right arrows in the net and previous boxes. If you put your own in then want to put arrow back, how would I know to type the '→' in? In your wiki you've just got the word "arrows" not actual arrows. I think your docs could be more accurate here.

I defined hotkeys that have functionality on some websites and I would like to prevent that the hotkeys are also triggering that action on the website that is currently opened in Firefox. Is this possible?

I'm interested in a shortcut to press the green play-pause button in the playlists and albums. Is it possible to do using the current script? Possibly the shortcut need to be non-conflictive with the current play-pause

At the moment, if Spotify is not open and we hit a hotkey, it opens Spotify.
It is possible to add an option to not do anything if spotify is not already open?

It would be great if this extension worked with music.youtube.com.

The add-on does not seem to work in overleaf (when in editing mode)

I've recently updated Mozilla Firefox to 66.0.3 and the add-on stopped working. Firefox help redirects me to an article about add-ons signing, which I imagine is the cause of the failure.

Is there an intention to support new versions?

I can enter F1-F12 but when I try and type in F13, it won't allow me.

Firstly, thank you very much for writing this extension; I've been looking for a Like-song shortcut method for aeons.

It'd be cool if the extension could record the keystroke(s) instead of having the textfield+checkbox interface! I'd love to contribute to making this happen, but I haven't done extensions before. Do you have an idea of where I'd start?

Some shortcuts don't work anymore, possibly broken by a firefox update?

These features don't work anymore:

• Play/Pause
• Previous track
• Shuffle playlist
• Play/pause the current playlist/album
• Save track

These still work:

• Next track
• Repeat playlist
• Mute/Unmute

For me all of my media keys can only stop/start the music in the spotify web player, even tho i mapped MediaNextTrack and MediaPrevTrack to the next/previous track option.

Maybe the input got renamed?

In this documentation they use MediaNext and MediaPrev instead of MediaNextTrack and MediaPrevTrack .

STR:

1. open two Spotify tabs
2. press your short-key for Next track

What happened:

• Next after Next track is being played (one is skipped). It seems that the command is received by both tabs and they both will try to play Next track

What should happen:

• having multiple Spotify tabs should not affect switching tracks

I needed this exact extension and it already exists, amazing!
How about showing the keybindings when you click the icon that gets added in the toolbar? I'd be happy to make a PR with this.

First of wanted to say the add-on is great, and works perfectly fine for me.
I thought about a suggestion you can add to it.
A toggleable option, that when enabled, shows a pop-up every time a track ends and a new tracks start.
If possible it can pop from the add-on on the toolbar, or as a notification.
Also, when clicking on the add-on it can show whats playing and view something like a mini-player with some info (length, album etc.).

That's all, if I knew add-on development i would contribute more, maybe in the future.

A user has requested volume related hotkeys

Describe the bug
The notifications with the song title and artist info are not displayed.

To Reproduce

• Enter Spotify and play song
• Change song
• Notification is not displayed

Expected behavior
A notifications should appear with song information

Desktop

• OS: Windows
• Browser: Firefox
• Version: 1.5.3

Additional context
The CSS classes have changed, again... The script query the class now-playing that retrieves the div containing the song cover, title and artists info. However, they have now made the classes randomized so it is no longer useful.

Currently hotkeys only work when Firefox has the user's focus. Add an option to enable Spotify hotkeys globally so that the user can control Spotify web app even when Firefox is minimized / out of focus.

There is an extension for Chrome with this functionality.
