Certain layout configurations look weird.

The temperature display stops updating after a while for some reason.

The program used to use all of the computer's memory after a while; does it still do that?

Changing the various color settings in the config file does not change the colors in the program. Entering "RED", for example, would not result in the color being red.

The clock flickers whenever it attempts to contact its remote time server.

The program waits for a response from the time server before it will display itself. Possible solution: add a default value for the clock text (maybe the system time?).
