I've used your theme ... which I like very much. Recently updated a different computer and downloaded the most recent version of Processing .... 3.3. This breaks your theme :(

I believe the problem is that Processing now puts some executable jar files in the lib folder; so when I copied the lib folder over the Processing app would not open anymore.

To solve this I instead copied all of the items contained in the DarkProcessingTheme lib folder and replaced any that were already in the Processing lib folder with yours. That way all the executable files stayed and the app was able to open.

I installed the latest version of processing. But even if I change the files, it stays the same

I'm looking for changing colors of variables, methods etc... but I just don't find where it is set, and classic colors are still in use, so it isn't really readable.. could you indicate me where it is ?

I'm having trouble following the installation instructions.

I don't seem to have ~/Applications/Processing.app

Rather it shows:

however copying the files from this repo into /Library/Processing does not seem to work??

This could be a nice Tool as well: https://github.com/processing/processing/wiki/Tool-Overview

The preferences.txt file contains the path to your sketch folder, among other important settings.

It would be nice to know which parts of preferences.txt should be updated, without throwing away your own preferences.

Or at least, the instructions should include which rows you should update after replacing the file.

Your DarkProcessingTheme series has been popular for a long time now. With Proceesing 4.0 beta just released, dark-theming is underway yet again on the forums: https://discourse.processing.org/t/processing-4-change-editor-window-colour/31717/4

Would you consider releasing a 4.0 of your DarkProcessingTheme? Theming is almost the same, but a bit simplified:
