I have built an RP Crew on Red Dead that is thriving. However, the one thing that we are missing is the ability to predict WHEN the Gang Hideouts, rescue missions, etc., spawn in online. We understand that you have their locations marked, but is there a way for your map to act as a live indicator of when these events are active in online?

I am curious as to why you took down the list of trees that can randomly spawn treasure maps..? I have most of them memorized and took a map from in RIO on the tree in the lightning patch, the tree outside thieves landing, and the tree near stillwater creek. I would love to see it go back up. Thanks for all your hard work.

My friends and I like to do the daily challenges together. I'd like to share a URL to a map showing today's herbs/birds/fish we need to find.

I don't think there's a machine readable online listing of the daily challenges, so I would configure the map myself, then click a new copy settings as url button, which like the search feature on RDR2CollectorsMap would give me a URL with, in this case, something like ?settings=X
appended. We'd need to come up with a URL safe format, whether it's standard URL encoding on its own or base64 etc.
Obviously this also implies code to then read that query param upon page load. But this should be able to share code with the current settings import/export.
Describe alternatives you've considered
One alternative would be to copy the search feature directly from RDR2CollectorsMap, as that already enables this "share by URL" workflow. Although in that case the control would just be by text matching, rather than control of all settings.

I'm a developer myself, so I'd be happy to get involved in the implementation if that's helpful, after we can agree the feature.

The two Tailor Shops have a wardrobe room, but most General Stores do as well (but not all), basically functioning as a full tailor shop. Can you add Wardrobes to the list of locations?
Also, there is a stew pot across from the butcher in Valentine where players can eat stew. Are there others on the map? Can these be added?
Players can Wash Face at camp. Are there other locations where players can do this? If so, can they be added?
I've heard (not verified) Players can chop wood outside one of the structures around Rhodes. Can this be added to the map? Is it a one-off? Are there other one-off activities?

Random dog event almost impossible to find because the dog appears only in one place on the map all day and at a certain time it is also almost impossible to find the random dog event if we do not know the exact location on the map that the dog will appear. It doesn't do much to have all locations if the dog will not show up in a certain place I have spent more than 7 hours in a solo session looking for the random dog first I went to all locations of the dog event then I stayed in a single location of the dog I stayed day and night to see if it appears more unsuccessful I came to the conclusion that the dog is a random event that every day or a few hours the dog is appearing in a certain place on the map the solution and you inform in which location on the map the dog will appear during the day could do that during the daily challenge day we need to find the dog would alert would help a lot
Today's daily challanges have 5 bluegill caught on site there is no bluegill fish option

Correct Coords for the campfire in that place is;

One of today's dailies is to skin 3 prairie chickens, but they're not showing under 'birds' on your map!

Might I suggest adding toggles under gang hideouts to hide inactive hideouts, display only inactive hideouts, or something along those lines? In case someone needs to know what hideouts will be active in the next few hours so they can plan ahead

When you turn on Polish, nothing changes. It's Still English. With Collectible map it's ok.
hey, creek plum is missing from plants.
Somehow the 'pointer' cursor only works on the markers and not on the rest of the map when "Show coordinates" is turned on.
Switching between hiding all and show all nothing changes. Can't even select what type of animal, fish or plants to choose.

in some days i cant play, so i log in only for a moment to make one daily.
if i know the dailies one day earlier i could plan my time better.

Feature suggestion: a list of crafting and moonshine recipies and the locations for the ingredients.
Also somehowe that some of the ingredients are purchasable in the catalouge
I dont know if it supposed to be correct but i play on xbox and the open world even it not correct it always shows the last played event not what is actually starting at the end of the timer

Hi, I noticed that the collector map is also translated into Italian, is it possible to have also the interactive map markers?
Legendary animals spawning problem seems to be finally coming to a fix; still, they are tricky to follow using the map because of the time and weather conditions
Inspired by this Reddit post
and since the map is already time aware, maybe we can have the user to select current weather condition to show/hide legendary animals that may spawn according to these conditions

Hi, this map is helping almost everyone who plays rdr2 online. Huge thanks for that. so the question is "when are you updating the Naturalist Role map?" we all are so eager to see the update on the map. thank you...!
When wanting to do a quick run on herbs to get them for recipes or to sell, I'm finding it difficult to show all on the map when all are green and cannot differentiate them from other herbs due to the same icon.
A good fix would be to change the colors of the herb icons much like the collector's items on the collector map, as well as change the icons from the default "plant" icon to their own respective icons. Toggles could also be added much like the collector map, allowing people to check off herbs as they collect them. And just to avoid confusing some people, the option to have the same color for herbs could be toggled between all green and individually colored as well.

The Red Dead Online discord, found here: https://discord.gg/3zt495X has a channel called "compendium" where a bot can, among other things, list the exact preferred times and weather for specific legendary animals. Currently, the map simply states "morning, day, night, etc"

If you could take a look at how the information is presented through the bot on that discord, I would find it immensely more useful if I could check the map at a glance and see exact times rather than an estimate.

In RDO Map says "Esta subespecie suele pastar al amanecer y prefiere el clima seco." when in game, the animal guide says "Esta subespecie suele pastar al atardecer y prefiere el clima seco." i suppose is worth mentioning this because the spawn time for legendary animals must be right in RDO Map to avoid wasting time searching for some random animal in the wrong time frame.

I realized that to get all coordinates of all plants, a search grid will be nessesary at some point.
And before some arbitrary grid gets implemented I took it upon me to research the (your) map in depth and combine it with all the data I accumulated about in-game measurements.
And I finally cracked the code.
I will attach the gist of it as maps.
There are three versions:
A. Dodecal grid MILES. My preference, the MILE grid (dodeca = 12 in Greek). Every 12 degrees are exactly 1 in-game mile. That makes it not only a fine search grid but it also serves as a Mile grid. (Duh)
B. Octal grid. The octal grid. This is how the (digital) logic of the map works. All binary numbers. This is the only grid that has nice even center coordinates.
C. Decimal grid. That might seem be the most obvious, but it's not. It has nothing to do with the digital numbers of the map, which are all powers of two.
ATTENTION: The decimal grid does NOT represent KILOMETRES! It represents 10 degrees of map coordinates! The map distance measurements are entirely in miles.
We can pretty much eat at any stew pots, not necessary at our camp... so hope that we can add that in this map.
