A fatal crash happens when server settings and debug is activated in this line : https://github.com/jchristopher/duplicate-menu/blob/master/duplicate-menu.php#L50

There should be a check for "isset($_GET['menu'])" before trying to access it because by default, when we arrive in the menu editing screen, there's no menu specified in the query string. Doesn't crash on most live installs because debug isn't activated.

I am using the ubermenu plugin with its various settings. using duplicate-menu all the the post meta data gets not copied to the new instance. if i had a wish i would like to have an option to either duplicate them to the new instance.

all of the UberMenu menu item data is stored in the postmeta table with all the standard menu item data, and is keyed by "_uber_options" (all options for a single menu item are stored in a single serialized meta_value).

PHP Version 7.1.17:
Plugin does what it should but I get this warning after plugin install and calling /wp-admin/themes.php?page=duplicate-menu:

I used Duplicate menu to make a copy, but the icon name (such as fa-home) did not duplicate. Am I missing an option somewhere?

I made sure that this plugin can be translated. I did that via PR #13

On Wordpress 4.9.7, with the plugin installed and activated with no errors, I couldn't successfully duplicate a menu.

I could select the menu to duplicate and assign it a new name, but when viewing the menu in Appearance -> Menus, only the very first nav item from the source menu had been copied over.

Following the instructions found on the support pages of this plugin I managed to fix this issue. I would submit a PR but I am ignorant about what this code is doing other than making the plugin work, so it may not be suitable in its current form?

When duplicating a menu I get "The link you followed has expired"
