codenamesgreen's Issues

Displaying count on win

The only improvement I can think of to the game is displaying the number of turns required when we win the game. Currently, the it just tells you that you won and then you must scan through the log file and manually count the number of turns it took.

Codenamesgreen no longer working at hosted site

Thank you for Codenames Green! My partner and I have really enjoyed scratching the codenames itch with just two players.

As of yesterday we have had trouble using the website for games.

When joining a room the spinner remains indefinitely and the console shows this error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'storeCache' of undefined

After a while some CORS errors also show:

Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://api.codenamesgreen.com/new-game' from origin 'https://www.codenamesgreen.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

Word list

We love this game and play it almost daily. However, we have gone through all the words and they are getting reused a lot now. Is there anyway to add or increase the number of words? Would it help out if I emailed you a list of words to add? Thanks for this game.

Game won't load; javascript errors

On my laptop (recent Firefox) and on an Android tablet (recent Chrome) the game isn't loading. The console on my laptop says TypeError: i.ports is undefined, and then gives a couple of CORS errors.

Correct guesses aren't covered on the board

When a green word is guessed, its card only becomes unclickable, rather than getting covered, which makes the board difficult to read. Same for black words, though that's not really an issue as the game's over at that point. Tan words seem to work fine. Happens in both firefox and chrome, and in vertical/horizontal layouts.

For example, both 'spot' and 'calf' should be covered here.
