HelloWorld WebApp using .NET

Instructions

  1. Make sure .NET SDK (software development kit) is installed

  2. Check if .NET is installed correctly by running dotnet in command prompt

  3. Create the app

    • in the command prompt, run dotnet new webApp -o myWebApp --no-https and cd myWebApp to navigate to the new directory
      • dotnet new command creates a new application
      • -o parameter creates a directory named myWebApp
      • --no-https flag specifies not to enable HTTPS

  4. Run the app

    • in the command prompt dotnet watch run
