When building dukes-age.war following the tutorial I receive the error:
Non-resolvable parent POM: Could not find artifact org.glassfish.docs:firstcup-examples:pom:8.0-SNAPSHOT and 'parent.relativePath' points at wrong local POM @ line 5, column 13 -> [Help 2]

firstcup-examples/archetypes/dukes-age-archetype/src/main/resources/archetype-resources/pom.xml references 8.0-SNAPSHOT version of parent POM but parent POM is version 8.0. Changing version 8.0-SNAPSHOT to 8.0 resolves the issue.

Using firstcup-examples from Oracle java_ee_sdk-8.zip download but the version mismatch still appears to be present in this repo.

I have followed the tutorials for Java EE 8 carefully, but got the error while trying to build the dukes-ages-archetype;

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jdom/JDOMException

Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.2:jar (default-jar) on project dukes-age-archetype: Execution default-jar of goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.2:jar failed: A required class was missing while executing org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.2:jar: org/jdom/JDOMException
