There is a bug in editing components in nodal loads, development version. Create a few nodal load, go to menu Loads in the lower section. Try to change component value, for example Fx to number 5 kN. It fills 0.005 to the box, where should be 5 instead. The same bug exist for Element load.

congratulation for a nice application. I have a remark concerning units. For static analysis, we need to operate at least with length, area, second moment of inertia, force, stress (or elastic modulus), temperature. The easiest is definition of "basic" units, similar programs define units of length, force, temperature, such as m, kN, °C. Derived units are m^2, m^4, kPa. Currently, defining kN, m^2 and MPa are inconsistent since kN/m^2 is kPa, not MPa. The elegant solution would be to define default "basic" units of m, kN, °C. You also define density of material, if used, there is a need of kg units as well. Regards. Vit
